Description of site - Opened in 2003 Mount View Caravan Park is situated in an ideal location for that overnight halt when travelling north or south in to or out of Scotland. Just 1 mile from junction 13 of the M74 at Abington. Handy for visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh, every pitch has a 16 amp hookup. Nearby there is hill walking, fishing and golf courses. The site has laundry and showers facilities. There are many local attractions nearby such as the Museum of Lead Mining, Leadhills and Wanlockhead Railways and easy access to the border towns.

Directions to Site - Take junction 13 off M74 into Abington village, turn down Station Road in the centre of Abington, past the police station. Cross over the river bridge, then the railway bridge and the park entrance will be found shortly afterwards on the right.
