Description of site.

The camping field is 1.5 acres of level mown grass with views of the Helford River. Our organic farm shop offers local produce, apple juice, milk, ice cream, cakes etc. Fresh organic real Cornish pasties, pizzas baked in a wood fired oven, cakes, rolls, scones, bread etc made daily on the premises. Tea and coffee available. Nearest pub, the Ship Inn at Mawgan, a nice walk around the creeks of the river, approximately 1 mile. Welcoming, good freshly cooked food.

Boats for hire at St. Anthony and Helford to explore Frenchman's Creek and along the river. All beaches and fishing ports around the peninsula within approximately 6 miles. Local walking access to the river via the N.T to Tremayne Quay.

Wet weather activities: Ships and Castles swimming pool at Falmouth, Paradise Park at Hayle, Flambards at Helston. Why not make a day excursion to St Ives, The Isles of Scilly or the Eden Project.

Onsite Facilities - 15+ well-spaced pitches, two toilets in the field, as well as further facilities with hot showers nearby. Pets allowed by arrangement, plenty of space for ball games, Organic Farm Shop.

Offsite Facilities - Gas 1.5m, Bar/Pub 1.5m, Restaurant 2m, Laundrette 6m, Indoor Heated Pool 6m, Course Fishing 3m, Fishing 6m, Golf Course 6m, Horse Riding 6m, Water Sports 6m, Sandy Beaches 6m.

Cars - From Helston - A3083. After 2 miles at roundabout take the first exit, the B3293. At next roundabout take second exit to Mawgan. Gear Farm in 2 miles at top of long hill after second bridge. CARAVANS access through Newton and St Martin.
