Description of site.

The camping field is 1.5 acres of level mown grass with views of the Helford River. Two toilets in the field, facilities with showers nearby.

Our organic farm shop offers local produce, apple juice, milk, ice cream, cakes etc. Fresh organic real Cornish pasties, pizzas, cakes, rolls, scones, bread etc made daily on the premises. Tea and coffee available. Nearest pub, the Ship Inn at Mawgan, a nice walk around the creeks of the river, approximately 1 mile. Welcoming, good freshly cooked food.

Boats for hire at St. Anthony and Helford to explore Frenchman's Creek and along the river. All beaches and fishing ports around the peninsula within approximately 6 miles. Local walking access to the river ONLY via the N.T to Tremayne Quay.

Wet weather activities: Ships and Castles swimming pool at Falmouth, Paradise Park at Hayle, Flambards at Helston.

From Helston - A3083. After 2 miles at roundabout take the first exit, the B3293 to St. Keverne. At next roundabout take third exit - continue for 2 miles to junction on left to Newtown. Go through Newtown and St. Martin, 2 miles from St Martin (straight on) Gear Farm is on the left.
