Description of site. Situated in the heart of the Eden Valley approximately nine miles east of Penrith just off the A686 Penrith to Alston road (Voted the most scenic drive in Britain 2009). We have facilities for touring caravans, campervans and tents. Also a static caravan park with the advantage of The Fox Inn which is renowned for its quality meals. The site is regularly used by people doing the Coast to Coast and the Pennine Cycle Route. This is a lovely, peaceful stop-off where you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Pennines and the Lakeland hills. Well worth a visit. |
