Ideal location for that overnight break on your travels North to Scotland or as a base for touring Hadrian's Wall Country. Close to the Historical City of Carlisle, the Northern Lakes and the Scottish Borders, with nearby golf, salmon and trout fishing, horse riding, level country walks and historical houses and gardens. Most of the visitors to this peaceful retreat come as strangers and leave as friends, only to return on a regular basis, assured in the knowledge that the site is expertly tendered by Barbara and Murray Inglis, who have been operating the site for over 30 years. It's the little things that make all the difference, attention to detail, the real Cumbrian welcome and the beautifully cared for gardens. Directions to site: Dandy Dinmont Caravan and Camping Park is situated just north of Carlisle. Leave the M6 at junction 44. Take the Galashiels road. We are only 1.5 miles up this road on the right hand side. |
