The award winning Inglenook Caravan Park is situated in the Western Lake District in the historic village of Lamplugh. Within 10/15 minutes drive are the western lakes of Loweswater, Buttermere and Crummock Water and Alfred Wainwright's favourite fell, Haystacks. This is an area of contrasts with beautiful beaches, high mountains, tranquil lakes and gentle valleys. The exciting visitor attractions along the spectacular Cumbria coast with its wildlife and sandy beaches are within easy travelling distance. There are many opportunities for activities in the area, not least walking, climbing, fly fishing. The C2C Cycle Route and Wainwright's Coast to Coast Walk pass nearby - cyclists and walkers are welcome. New and used caravans for sale on or off site. Rallies Welcome.

Directions to site:

Leave the M6 at Junction 40. Take the A66 signed Keswick/Cockermouth. Continue for 30 miles to large roundabout on the outskirts of Cockermouth. Take exit signed A5086 Egremont. Continue for approximately 7 miles until the "Lamplugh Tip" Public House is on the right. Turn left in 200 yards. Site is 900 yards on right hand corner.
