Description of site - The site has easy access and is situated overlooking the National Heritage Corridor of the Derwent Valley, giving beautiful views of the Derbyshire countryside. Close by is the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site. The main A6 runs parallel leading to many tourist attractions and the M1 motorway. Five minute walk to friendly local pub. We are members of the Peak District and Derbyshire Tourist Board. Leave your car behind - Transpeak Bus Service at end of lane.

Directions to Site - Leave the A6 1 mile north of Belper (just past cemetary), turn right onto Broadholme Lane, go past Fishermans Rest Pub. After last house (red brick bungalow - 'Swallows Nest') on right hand side, look for sign. DO NOT GO UP THE HILL.
1 mile south of Ambergate look for lay-bys either side of the A6, take the next left turn - SLOWLY - telephone box on corner.
