Description of site. At Higher Longford we boast panoramic views of Dartmoor. From the Park you can walk directly on the Moor. The Park is well maintained and offers excellent facilities. We have a well equipped shop selling fresh produce and bottled gas. A comfortable campers lounge where you can relax with a drink from our off licence or food from our takeaway. There are well lit toilet blocks. All showers and hot water is free, (heated in winter) and now with baby changing facilities and bath. We have multi-service pitches, grass pitches, electric hook-ups, super hook-ups, all with a picturesque view of Dartmoor. We can also offer 4 self-catering cottages for hire. These are comfortable and affordable. Call for availability. We offer caravan storage at very reasonable rates, or seasonal pitches for the more serious camper. We have just received the David Bellamy Gold Award for the fifth year running, supporting our commitment to the natural surroundings the National Park has to offer. We accept pets and provide a special area for your pet to run freely. All major debit and credit cards are accepted here. |
