Close to the bustling city of Exeter, Newton Abbot with it's busy market place, and Teignmouth - 2 miles of sandy beaches. The ancient wool town of Chudleigh is just one mile away and local hostelries offer good food to suit most tastes and pockets. Chudleigh now has a Co-op supermarket (with cash machine), Harveys Deli and coffee shop, Post Office, Lloyds chemist etc. For the shopaholic Trago Mills is just 10 minutes away .Our Park offers a picturesque meadow for camping, seasonal pitches, storage and Holiday Homes for sale. Places to visit: Stover Country Park - 114 acres of woodland. Canonteign Falls - breathtaking combination of waterfalls and cascades in the beautiful Teign Valley. Buckfast Abbey - home to a community of Benedictine monks - lovely gardens and restaurant provides morning coffee, lunch, or a cream tea. National Trust houses and gardens are in abundance, coarse fishing, golf and horse riding are close by. Highwayman's Haunt Inn 5 minutes from the Park, good food and children welcome. |

Directions to site: Follow the M5 to Exeter and take the A38 towards Plymouth. Half a mile from the top of Haldon Hill, past the racecourse and the Little Chef, you will come to a BP petrol station. Exit to the left is signposted Chudleigh. The entrance to Holmans Wood is at the end of this short slip road on the left hand side. |
