Description of site. Downshay Farm is a working dairy farm in the heart of the isle of Purbeck, ideally located for exploring the area. CARAVAN SITE - We have run a small caravan site for 10 years. We offer you a lawned and terraced site on 3 levels with a private tarmaced access road and ample space for 12 vans. All our pitches have electric hook-up and the most superb views of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills. Booking recommended in high season. Dogs are permitted on site on a lead. Caravan site open from Easter-end Oct. CAMPSITE - We also offer family camping in a adjacent field during Whitsun week and from 15 July - 1 Sept. This field is for TENTS and CAMPER-VANS only (no transit vehicles). Bed and Breakfast is available in the farmhouse should relatives or friends wish to join you on your holiday. Our spacious field has superb views and allows you to spread out, relax and enjoy your holiday. Children are welcome. Our facilities include toilet blocks,showers and hot water. Directions to site: Take the A351 through Corfe Castle towards Swanage. After 2 miles, turn right at the crossroads in Harmans Cross into Haycrafts Lane. The farm is half a mile up the lane, second turning on the right. |
