Located at Parton on the shores of Loch Ken seven miles northwest of Castle Douglas, Loch Ken Holiday Park is a quiet, rural, camping and caravan park situated on the shores of Loch Ken in Galloway. This peaceful, small, award winning park, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is adjacent to the Galloway Forest Park which offers visitors many opportunities for walking, climbing, cycling and bird watching. The campsite occupies 10 acres on the lochside edge of a 600 acre stock farm belonging to the Bryson Family. Visitors are welcome to watch any of the seasonal farming operations. Amongst the pursuits enjoyed on and near the site are swimming, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, golf, cycling and walking. Luxury 2 and 3 bedroom caravans for hire. Licensed grocery store with daily deliveries of milk, bread and newspapers. Fishing tackle & permits for sale. Permits must be obtained prior to fishing. Bicycles, canoes and dinghies for hire. Rallies Welcome.
