This peaceful one acre site on the beef and sheep farm of South Port O'Spittal enjoys panoramic views over the sea to Ireland and is set within a backdrop of rolling Galloway countryside. The sand and shingle beach of Port O'Spittal Bay is a mere ten minute walk by footpath. Coastal footpaths can also be enjoyed. The village of Portpatrick, the jewel in bonnie Galloway's crown, with its array of restaurants, shops, picturesque harbour, putting green and Dunskey Gardens with coffee shop are a mere 2.5 miles away. This is also an ideal location for visiting Stranraer - enjoy a day trip to Ireland from the ferry town just 7 miles away. Scotland's most southerly point, the Mull of Galloway, Lighthouse Restaurant, Port Logan (home of the BBC's 2000 acres of sky), Logan Botanical Gardens are all within 15 miles. The holiday lodges have sea views.

Directions to site:

Turn left off the A77 (Stranraer to Portpatrick) within 5 miles onto the B7042 (signposted Sandhead). Within 1 mile keep right into road signposted Meoul, Knockinaom Motel. In 1 mile keep left into farm drive, bear right at farmhouse.
