Description of site.

Walton on the Naze is a traditional seaside town with a fascinating history, wonderful walks, nature reserves, beaches and the second longest pier in Britain. You could also drive inland and explore famous landmarks or discover fantastic open areas for picnics and relaxation.

The indoor pool, new in 2007, will be a big hit for everyone who visits Naze Marine this year! After a relaxing dip, or an active swim, why not treat yourself to lunch and a drink in the poolside Ocean Café. The kids will love Sparky and his Krew, the adventure playground and nearby horse riding.

In the evening, sit back and enjoy the sparkling shows and visiting cabaret in the Marine Park Entertainment Centre.

Walton Pier - The second longest pier in the UK with amusement arcade, fun fair and so much more for the whole family. Boat trips to See the Seals – Wildlife boat trips are an excellent way to see seals, sea birds and fantastic views of the beautiful backwaters. Wivenhoe – Take a trip into Winvenhoe for picnics, cycling and a children’s play area. Westcliffe Theatre and Clacton Pier – Play the amusements on the pier, then see a great show at the theatre! East Anglian Railway Museum – A working museum representing 100 years of railway engineering and architecture in East Anglia. The Naze – 137 acres of grassland above 70-foot cliffs dominated by the Naze Tower. Dedham – A charming village with an impressive church. Take a trip on the River Stour and stop for a cream tea. Directions to site:

Follow the main A12 to Colchester. Take the main A120 Harwich road as far as the A133. Take the A133 as far as Weeley, and then take the B1033 all the way to Walton seafront. Naze Marine Holiday Park is situated on the left.
