Description of site. Very close to the lake of La Palme, The Clapotis (Naturist Campsite) pleasantly welcomes all holidaymakers. But these are, without dispute, the windsurfers who find a particular interest there: a naturist beach and a vast lake to practice their favourite activity. The main asset for an unique site. Without dispute, between sea and mountain, with views over the Mount Canigou, the Clapotis is an inescapable place for naturists, especially since it is also a special starting point for visiting a region rich in history and heritage. Adult tourists and children will appreciate everything such as a visit to the African reserve of Sigean (more than 3000 animals on a space of 261 hectares) to the one of the château de Salse (its defensive walls are 6 to 8 metres thick). From the top of the dungeon of the latter, your view is insurmountable in the region and encourages you to drive off to find a number of these interesting places. Less than half an hour from there, while going to Perpignan, highest place in catalan, is Narbonne, a prefectural town, where two fiefs gently compete in the activity of rugbystique. An not forgetting surely, to taste some specialities of the region, like the Rivesalte, to mention one only. Without contest, if the Clapotis is the paradise for the naturist windsurfers, it has a lot of other assets to seduce the simple tourist, greedy to discover the region. |
