Description of site. Le Fournet is a British owned caravan and camping park, located in the picturesque Charente Region of France. Having our own private stretch of the famous River La Charente, this is ideal for any anglers, or laze by the river on the hot sunny Charente days. Purpose built barbeques and picnic tables are placed around the park. There are also two natural springs, one even has a small waterfall from the rock, from which the spring waters fall naturally into the River La Charente. The area is ideal for walking, cycling and bird watching as the area many variety of species including Buzzards, Kestrels and Herons plus an abundance of other wildlife. Pets are welcome. |
