The area is ideal for ramblers, bird watching, cycling etc., Approximately 10km are Les lacs de Haute Charente (large lakes) where you will find various water sports, fishing, sandy beaches, restaurants, bars etc., There is an Adventure Park for both adults and young teenagers. The site is ideally situated for many of the Charente's tourist attractions including vineyards, the cognac distilleries, chateaux, roman ruins, war memorials, zoos, markets and much more. Camping le Paradis is approximately 6 hours from both the Provence and the Spanish border so makes an ideal 'en route' stopover. The site is also very popular for those wishing to house hunt. |

Directions to site: From Limoges head in the direction of Angouleme on the N141. On reaching Roumazieres-Loubert, at the first set of traffic lights, turn left. After 5-6 kilometres, at the T-junction, turn right and follow the signs to the site . |
