Description of site. Les Charmettes is, for many, the flagship of the Siblu Parks. Within an easy day's drive from the ferry ports its location in France is ideal for your own holiday home. You benefit from the privileged microclimate of the Charente Maritime, which boasts as many annual sunshine hours as the Mediterranean coast and excellent summer temperatures. Les Charmettes is set in well maintained and spacious grounds. Its pitches have been developed in a unique circular style, like an artist's palette, giving it a real neighbourhood feel. The majority of pitches are surrounded by hedges and trees, which give privacy and a good measure of shade. The pool complex is a water park masterpiece. The second jewel in the crown is the splendid newly opened venue, which must be one of the most fabulous purpose-built entertainment halls in France. The Siblu team and visiting groups provide an outstanding array of daytime and evening family fun and amusement. There is everything from music from our resident entertainers, to visiting groups, comedy acts and cabarets. Many families spend most of their time on the park but don't foget the diversity of this area. The glorious sandy beaches and Atlantic rollers of La Grande Côte and La Côte Sauvage are only a 5 minute drive. There are also plenty of picturesque bays with pretty beaches in the nearby resorts of La Palmyre, St. Palais or the cosmopolitan town Royan with its marina and fishing port. |
