Description of site. Located in a natural setting of 4 hectares in the heart of the Bouriane, on the banks of a lake (bathing allowed and supervised from 1st July to 31st August), and on the edge of the Périgourdine forest. Cazals is a bastide where winding streets surround a shady square Hugues Salel, from the castle to the church. The character houses like dovecotes and the ocher stones convey a particular charm. The pedestrian footpaths signposted in the surrounding countryside are numerous because here nature doesn't cheat, she reveals her splendours and pleasant store of surprises to her passionate lovers. Directions to site: Take the A20 (Paris to Toulouse) exit at Cahors. Then follow directions for Fumel. At Crayssac Cazals is signposted to the right. In Cazals, the campsite is situated on the edge of the lake. |
