Camping Le Clos Castel is an English owned, family run campsite. We are within easy reach of the ports of Cherbourg, Caen, St Malo and Le Harve. Perfectly situated 15 minutes from Carentan enabling you to discover the beautiful area of Normandy as well as being in the heart of the D-day landing beaches and museums. Similar to a UK C.L. site we offer six pitches with electric hook up, shower and toilet facilities plus chemical disposal for units using environmentally friendly chemicals. (This can be provided on site for no extra charge.) We are happy to accept pets as long as they remain on a lead. A local vet in the nearby village is capable of dealing with the necessary treatment for your return to the UK.

At Camping Le Clos Castel you will find us friendly and helpful and as fellow campers we will endeavour to meet your needs. We also offer B&B accommodation and caravan storage.

From Cherbourg follow the signs for Caen (N13) continue on the N13 until Carentan. At Carentan follow the signs for Periers on the D971. You will pass through a little commune called Sainteny. Continue on the D971 until you reach the little commune of Raids. As you pass by the church at Raids (stay on the D971) you will find Le Clos Castel B&B at the first gates on your right after the church. Just past the gates is a lane leading to the entrance to our Campsite and storage area. When approaching from Caen follow the signs for Cherbourg until you pick up the N13 then follow the directions as above.
