Description of site. Camping Vallee de la Sélune is situated in the quiet village of Pontaubault adjacent to the river Sélune, 3 miles south of Avranches and 8 miles east of Mont Saint-Michel. Within easy reach of the ports, St Malo (one hour), Cherbourg (two and a quarter hours), and Caen (two hours), it provides a good stopover and an ideal base to explore the Normandie and Brittany area. The site has modern toilet facilities with hot water and showers, and 63 electric hook ups. The Village is situated on the 'route de Liberation' has some four restaurants with local cuisine, a baker, butchers and tennis courts. Other facilities within easy reach include a museum, fishing, horse riding, cycling, swimming and golf.Rallies Welcome. |
