Description of site. Le PreCatalan is a very clean, well maintained and really friendly 4 star site. It is owned and managed by Francois Galidie and his English born wife. It is a 10 minute walk from a gorgeous, long, sandy beach and the on-site facilities are excellent. A new pool complex is under construction and this will be completed by April 2009. The site is a 40 minute drive from the Spanish border and the foothills of the Pyrenees and the village of Barcares is surrounded by a large number of other beautiful, small, coastal resorts. Ryanair are currently offering very cheap direct flights to Perpignan from Birmingham, Manchester and London Stansted. |

Directions to site: The site is a 20 minute drive from Perpignan Airport. Other airports a short drive away are Barcelona-Gerona ( 1 hour ), Carcassonne ( 1 hour ), Toulouse ( 1 hour ) and Beziers, ( 45 minutes ). Barcelona's main airport is 2 hours away. Many of our visitors take the cross channel ferries and drive down through the beautiful countryside of France. The site is then accessed from junction 40 of Highway A9. Full directions will be supplied with every booking. |
