Description of site - In the heart of the Périgord, at Tourtoirac in the Dordogne (near Hautefort), to be more exact, in the magnificent valley of the Auvézère. The family de Haay are proud to welcome you, from mid April to mid October, at their Campsite "Les Tourterelles". Situated in a 12 hectare grassed and wooded surrounding, the campsite offers you tranquillity and relaxation. In the area there is a large choice of historical museums and prehistoric caves and of course the rich gastronomiques of the Périgord. A unique feature is horse riding through the wealth of magnificent woodland and fishing along the banks of the river. Angie's Ranch is an exceptional horse riding centre with 26 horses and ponies for outings in the wild and magnificent forests and landscapes of the Dordogne. Marked routes allow parents with small children to make their own walks on the Shetland ponies. Your children will enjoy going in the mornings to take care of the horses while you are even still sleeping. If you do not feel like cooking we have a restaurant with menus and a large a la carte also for takeaway, you'll have a nice choice. So do not hesitate to come and see us.
