Description of site. Set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Llanmadoc Camping Site is an idyllic family camping site. Situated adjacent to Llanmadoc Beach with its miles of unspoilt, secluded golden sands, this is the perfect place for all the family to relax and unwind! From Llanmadoc Hill, behind the site, enjoy breathtaking views of the whole of the Gower peninsula. The camping fields benefit from panoramic views across the sea to the coast of the ancient county of Pembrokeshire. The site is well placed and set in an unrivalled sheltered location. We are pleased to offer a host of facilities including: A well stocked shop, Hot showers, Electric hook-ups available on some pitches, Replacement Gas, Miles of clean, unspoilt sandy beaches, with access to the adjoining National Trust Park. Motorhomes, caravans and tents are all welcome. There is something truly unique about Gower. Site Details: Lagadranta Farm, Llanmadoc, Gower, Swansea, SA3 1DE Onsite Facilities - 50 Tourers/Motorhomes, (Some Hard standing), 200 Tents, Hookups, Toilets, Showers, Chemical Disposal Point, Pets Allowed, Food Shop, Gas, Fishing, Sandy Beach. Please be aware that extra charges apply for Gazebos, Extra Tents (one tent = 2 adults and 2 children), Dogs (must be well behaved and kept on lead at all times. Dog owners are expected to clean up after their pets.). Please note that young children, under 8 yrs, must be accompanied by an adult using the toilet and shower facilities. Any damage or irresponsible behaviour will result in vacating of the site. Groups Welcome.Offsite Facilities - The village pub has draught ale and a varied selection of food. There are other restaurants and bars not far from the village. Pub 0.5m, Restaurant 0.5m. |

Directions to site: From the M4 junction 47, take the A483 to Gorseinon, turn left at lights in the middle of the shopping centre (HSBC Bank on the corner). Follow the road until you reach a mini roundabout and then right at the next (almost immediately). Carry on towards Gowerton and turn right at the first set of lights. The "Welcome to Gower" public house is on the corner, or alternatively take the new motorway to Gowerton. Head along the B4295 through Penclawdd to Llanrhidian. Turn left at the Greyhound public house following signs to Llanmadoc, or alternatively turn right at the Greyhound Inn passing Weobly Castle. Take the first right, Burry Green, signposted to Llanmadoc. Follow the road over the common down the hill. At the T junction turn up the hill and follow the road through the village. Just after the Post Office and shop on your left you come to Llanmadoc Church. Don't turn right. Carry on half a mile and you will come to the camp site and beach car park at the end of the road. |
