Description of site. Blaen Cefn is ideally located for touring the Lleyn Peninsula, Snowdonia National Park, The Isle of Anglesey and North Wales generally. There are many good sandy beaches for safe bathing, surfing and boating nearby and sights to see and places to visit. Wales is renowned for narrow gauge railways which can be also be a means of transport to sights and attractions. The Ffestiniog Railway runs through the gounds of Blaen Cefn Park. Other attractions nearby include the rack and pinion railway which climbs Snowdon, the Padarn Country Park, Gloddfa Ganol Slate Mine and Portmeirion is close too (featured in the TV series "The Prisoner"). Rallies are Welcome. |
