Description of site.

Located just 3 miles north of Hereford, with direct and easy access straight off the A49 at Moreton-on-Lugg, a superb base for exploring the surrounding countryside including the stunning scenery of Wales. Cuckoo’s Corner Camp Site offers flat easily accessed pitches suitable for touring and also a relaxing holiday in the Herefordshire countryside. Adjacent to a bus stop there is a regular service south to the interesting city (with all the shops!) of Hereford and north to the Tudor market town of Leominster and it’s specialist antique shops. Hereford racecourse holds race meetings and other events. Campers have had very successful fishing expeditions on the nearby River Wye and (even closer) the River Lugg. Walkers can take advantage of the footpath, which goes directly into the fields behind the campsite.

A small friendly site now under new ownership, Adrian and Pat Spong are improving the facilities presently offered. We have now completed various improvements. Both camping fields have roadways and there are now 11 hard standings. Five of which are 45 feet long and have adjacent water. A washing machine is now available and in addition to the free wifi hotspot most of the site is covered by wireless broadband. There is a free DVD library. Wet or shine Cuckoo’s Corner is the place to be!

Directions to site:

We have direct access from the A49. From Hereford we are the 2nd turning on the LEFT after the Moreton-on-Lugg sign. From Leominster we are the first (non gated) road on the right after the brown camping sign. Slow down! Then turn right just before the crossing island, crossing the hatched white lines in the centre of the road.
