Description of site. Haywood Farm is a small family run site situated a short distance from the M50 and close to Queens Wood on the edge of the Forest of Dean between Newent and Ross-on-Wye. The Malvern Hills and Brecon Beacons are a popular destinations for our visitors. The cities of Hereford and Gloucester are 20 to 25 minutes away making the site central to visiting all areas. Woodland walks are on your doorstep and there are four golf courses within a three mile radius. Sports centres and swimming pools are just a short drive away. New shower and toilet block. Sauna cabin. Small fishing pond on site. Football/tennis court, tree house and indoor table tennis. Indoor storage. Pub, restaurant, post office, shop and off licence are a 10 minute walk. Directions to site: From junction 3 of the M50 follow Newent/Glos sign to Gorsley village, take 2nd left after post office, signposted Kempley/Dymock. After 600 metres turn left at junction to caravan site. From Gloucester take the B4221 to Newent and M50, at approach to Gorsley take second right after church signposted Kempley/Dymock then directions as above. |
