Description of site. Trewan Sands is a small friendly family run site set in 21 acres of natural grounds on the edge of 550 acres of Trewan common and Rhosneigr golf course. We are three miles from Bryngwran village and a one mile walk to Rhosneigr and beach. It has fantastic views of Snowdonia and surrounding areas. There is plenty of space for the children to play and we have a pets corner with chickens, geese, ducks and goats. The site has been completely renewed over the past few years and we now have four luxury static caravans for rent, 2 or 3 bedrooms sleeping 4/6 people, all with heating, full shower rooms, Dining areas, Lounge with TV and DVD. On the south side we have a luxury 4 bed converted Railway cottage for rent, sleeps 8. It has 2 bathrooms, lounge with multi-fuel fire, TV, DVD, Video, Sky, Dining room, Kitchen with range. It has been graded 5 stars by the Welsh tourist board. Holyhead to Bangor railway line runs to the rear of Trewan Sands. RAF planes may fly around the area during weekdays. |

Directions to site: From Bangor exit A5 at the Rhosneigr exit, turn left on the A4080 to Rhosneigr, continue for 2.7 miles and turn right by the signpost for Bryngwran. Continue for 2 miles. Turn left into dead end road at the small crossroads signposted Capel Gwyn (Capel Gwyn to the right and dead end to the left). Continue down the lane bear right over the small bridge and cattle grid, the road becomes a track and turns left then right keep going over the common and golf course, Trewan sands is at the end (about 1 mile). |
