Description of site. Quiet two acre site in the small hamlet of Thorncross, one mile from the village of Brighstone. It lies half a mile from the coast, in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the downs and the sea. The site is ideally situated for those Camping and Caravanning Club members wishing to explore the many and varied attractions in this lovely part of the Isle of Wight We have our own 2.5 acre day ticket Coarse fishery that is open to the experienced angler who will be expected to be fully equipped and abide by the fishery rules. |

Directions to site: From Newport, head West (Carisbrooke). Turn onto the B3323 to Shorwell. Take the B3399 to Brighstone, turn left at Church and turn left at Military Rd. After 1.25m turn down a grass track. From Yarmouth, take the A3054 to Freshwater. Take A3055, turn left and continue for 7m. (grid ref SZ 438811) Turn left down grass track, cross a lane to campsite (SZ 439815) |
