Directions to Site - 10 minutes driving off the A2 London to Dover main road. Whether returning from Europe and going North or travelling South from London. From London the directions are:- take the "Bridge, Patrixbourne & Bekesbourne" turn-off from the A2 (3 miles South of the Canterbury turnoff) turn left off the slip road and follow the signs to "Howletts Zoo Park" (which has a picture of an Elephant). At mini roundabout go left and ahead of you after about ½ mile you will see a large viaduct over the road. GO under the viaduct and IMMEDIATELY turn left to Bekesbourne Hill (the turning is so close that you should have your indicator on as you go under the viaduct). Follow the road carefully it is quite winding at the beginning and you will come out at the top on a straight road and open countryside – about 1 mile further on, (immediately after a very slight left bend) There is a mirror on the left and the entrance is immediately on your left after the mirror. There is a triangle warning road sign on the left indicating "old people crossing the road" This sign is at the gateway of the site (see top right picture) and immediately you see it pull over to the right hand side of the road and stop. You can then see whether the gate is open or not and you will be correctly positioned to drive through the gateway. TRY very hard not to go past the field as it's quite a long way before you can turn around and come back again! The hook-up points are around the edge of the field starting on your right! Select where you’d like to be and park up. We will come and find you at some point during your stay but please do not hesitate to phone us if you need any help or, indeed, just to let us know you have arrived safely. We hope you have a most enjoyable stay with us and that you enjoy the glorious weather the sunny South East boasts most of the time!
