Description of site - Located in the picturesque village of Stansted, within easy reach of London, Thriftwood Holiday Park is a hidden gem in the heart of the Kentish countryside. Originally used by the Camping Club, Thriftwood has provided the perfect holiday setting in Kent for more than half a century. The park is owned and run by the Sellers family. Sam Sellers opened his first Mobile home park – Church Road Park Homes – in 1985 and acquired Thriftwood in 2009. The park is now jointly owned and operated by Sam and his three sons, Mark, Sam and Billy. To them Thriftwood is more than just a business; it’s a way of life. They’ve always worked tirelessly to look after their visitors and create a five-star park to be proud of, and their array of industry awards confirms they’ve turned this vision into reality.

Whatever kind of holiday you’re looking for you’ll find it at Thriftwood. This family-friendly park offers something for everyone, as well as plenty of on-site activities for kids including a play-park, games room, heated outdoor swimming pool and a full range of on-site facilities.

With its open spaces and woodland walks, Thriftwood is the perfect choice for families with children of all ages, and is equally well suited for couples and adults who are looking for a peaceful break away from it all. There is meticulously maintained grass throughout the park as well as eight acres of beautiful woodland. Pets are very welcome, and there is ample space to exercise your dog. You’ll love it here so much we guarantee you’ll want to return year after year.
