Description of site. Border Forest is a small secluded family run park situated in the centre of Northumberland's National Park on the edge of Kielder Forest. Ideal terrain for walking, mountain biking, pony trekking, nature watching with fishing nearby. The park is well situated to use as a central touring base and within 1 hours drive you can visit all the border towns, Hawick, Jedburgh etc. as well as Hexham, Hadrians Wall, Newcastle etc. We have excellent modern amenities and pride ourselves on our clean heated toilet blocks with free showers. Rallies Welcome. |
