Description of site. Situated one mile from Craster, we run a small, friendly, quiet park which has easy access, is sheltered, grassy, level and well maintained. Hard standings available. Our facilities are spotlessly clean and checked throughout the day. We offer an ideal base for walkers, golfers and birders. For those who wish to explore the Heritage Coast there are numerous castles, wonderful beaches, the 'new' Alnwick Garden and inland, the Cheviots and National Park. Excellent pub food locally. Directions to site: Leave the A1 at Denwick, also signposted for Alnwick Gardens. Take the B1340 and follow for 2.5 miles, then following signposts for Craster. At each junction, follow brown caravan/camping signs (official signpost) until you reach Proctors Stead. |
