Description of site.

Arguably Northumberland’s most scenic site. With great views across rolling countryside towards the sea and Farne Islands and with Bamburgh Castle to the north and the Cheviot Hills to the west, Springhill’s 50-pitch camping/caravan site and wigwams are in a prime location. Just over half a mile from some of the UK’s most breath taking beaches, the site is close enough to the village of Seahouses (one mile) to be within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. Bamburgh, with its stunning castle and quaint shops is just over three miles away.

CARAVAN & CAMPING SITE - Touring caravan, mobile home and camping pitches are well spaced apart in a large, grassed area with hard standing and electric options. Apart from location our site has all the facilities and extras you need to enjoy a first-rate and comfortable camping and caravan experience.

WIGWAMS - Each wigwam sleep up to five are fully insulated with electric heating meaning wigwams stay cosy all year round. Inside, there are platform beds with mattresses, table, lights, small fridge and kettle. All wigwam guests have access to a communal kitchen and sitting area with internet access.
Wigwam facilities:- Sleep 5 per Wigwam, lighting, electric sockets and heating in each wigwam, fridge and kettle in each wigwam, fully equipped communal kitchen, communal dining/sitting area with Freeview television and DVD player, outdoor grassed area with a private picnic table, no bedding or towels supplied you must bring your own, laundry facilities, male toilet and shower facilities, female toilet and shower facilities, disabled toilet and shower room in the main toilet block, family toilet / bath and shower facilities with baby changing area in the main toilet block, information area, 24 hour emergency contacts, peak season reception area selling bread / milk and eggs, fire pits , BBQ's, children’s play area and picnic area, adjacent car parking, large grassed area for ball games, all electricity, heating , toilet and shower facilities are included in the cost, drying room, secure bike storage, dogs welcome (max 2 per wigwam). TRAVELLING SOUTH - From the A1 take the B1342, within 5 miles join the B1340 (Bamburgh). Continue 2.5 miles. Before entering Seahouses turn right to North Sunderland (large white house on corner). Take the first right turn (0.75 mile) within 0.5 mile you will come to a T-junction (Springhill Farm) - follow the signs to the site entrance.

TRAVELLING NORTH - From the A1 take the B1340 (Denwick), continue 14 miles until you reach Seahouses. Entering Seahouses past the Golf Club, turn left at the first mini roundabout. Continue 0.5 mile, turn right into Broad Road at the Longstone House Hotel. Within 100 yards. Turn left. Within 0.5 mile you will come to a T- junction (Springhill Farm) follow the signs to the site entrance.
