Description of site - Arguably Northumberland’s most scenic site. With great views across rolling countryside towards the sea and Farne Islands and with Bamburgh Castle to the north and the Cheviot Hills to the west, Springhill’s 50-pitch camping/caravan site and wigwams are in a prime location. Just over half a mile from some of the UK’s most breath taking beaches, the site is close enough to the village of Seahouses (one mile) to be within easy reach of shops, bars and restaurants. Bamburgh, with its stunning castle and quaint shops is just over three miles away.
TOURING SITE - Touring caravan, mobile home and camper vans are well spaced apart in a large, grassed area with hard standing and electric options. Apart from location our site has all the facilities and extras you need to enjoy a first-rate and comfortable camping and caravan experience.
WIGWAMS - Springhill has eight standard Wigwams and eight En-suite Wigwams based on our site just over half a mile from the sea and a mile from the village of Seahouses.
Standard Wigwam facilities:- Sleep 5 per Wigwam, Free Wi-Fi, Dogs welcome (max 2 per wigwam). Lighting, electric sockets & heating in each wigwam. Fridge and kettle in each wigwam, Fully equipped communal kitchen *(standard wigwam use only). Communal dining / sitting area with freeveiw television / DVD player *(standard wigwam use only). Outdoor grassed area with a private picnic table. Fire pit for each wigwam free of charge - firewood must be purchased from Springhill Farm. No bedding or towels supplied you must bring your own. Laundry facilities. Male toilet and shower facilities *(standard wigwam use only). Female toilet and shower facilities *(standard wigwam use only). Disabled toilet and shower room in the main toilet block. Family toilet / bath and shower facilities with baby changing area in the main toilet block. Adjacent car parking. BBQ area for standard wigwams.

Fully equipped mini kitchen with a two ring hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer and washing up facilities. En-suite shower room within the Wigwam. Outdoor grassed area with a private picnic table. Fire pit for each wigwam free of charge - firewood must be purchased from Springhill Farm. BBQ at each Wigwam - en-suite Wigwams only. No bedding or towels supplied you must bring your own. Adjacent car parking.

Directions to Site - TRAVELLING SOUTH - From the A1 take the B1342, within 5 miles join the B1340 (Bamburgh). Continue 2.5 miles. Before entering Seahouses turn right to North Sunderland (large white house on corner). Take the first right turn (0.75 mile) within 0.5 mile you will come to a T-junction (Springhill Farm) - follow the signs to the site entrance.
TRAVELLING NORTH - From the A1 take the B1340 (Denwick), continue 14 miles until you reach Seahouses. Entering Seahouses past the Golf Club, turn left at the first mini roundabout. Continue 0.5 mile, turn right into Broad Road at the Longstone House Hotel. Within 100 yards. Turn left. Within 0.5 mile you will come to a T- junction (Springhill Farm) follow the signs to the site entrance.
