Description of site.

Our site at Nawton lies between the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Howardian Hills. Within easy reach of York and coast and many other attractions. The local area is also good for walking and cycling. We are a new Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated 5 van site with excellent facilities toilet, shower, washing up sink, chemical disposal point, electrical hook up points, and aerial pick up points. Adjoining the 5 van site is approximately 2 acres of land for Rallies in which we will put up a small marquee for you to use at your convenience to help make your stay a enjoyable experience The fields are cut regularly and well drained. In the village are two public houses serving meals, and a fish and chip shop. Nunnington Hall, a 17th century manor house on the banks of the River Rye it is home to the Carlisle collection of miniature houses. The attractive market town of Helmsley is nearby. The ruins of Rievaulx Abbey are impressive and atmospheric. You can explore the landscape from fossils to farming at Ryedale Fork Museum. The North York Moors Railway. Eden Camp, this ex-World War Two prisoner of war camp takes you back to wartime Britain, and much much more. Rallies Welcome. Also now available a luxury 8 berth static caravan for hire.

Directions to site:

The site is easily found from Helmsley. Follow signs for Pickering on the A170 in approximately 3 miles Beadlam/Nawton. In Nawton, turn right onto Station Road site entrance 400 yards on left.
