Description of site.

Adult Only site where all pitches are attractively situated amongst evergreen trees, and are well spaced to ensure quiet and privacy, with hard roads throughout the site giving good all weather access, 20 pitches are on hard standings. The site is level and very well sheltered. The buildings are built in stone and have the traditional Pantile Roofs. Late arrival park. Mains electricity hook up points available on all pitches. Public telephone. Foxholme is about four miles from the historic market town of Helmsley, on the edge of the beautiful North York Moors National Park, with its miles of walks, horse riding, fishing, etc. The ruins of Rievaulx and Byland Abbeys are only a few miles away, whilst at Pickering (12 miles) is the Steam Railway which runs through the heart of the National Park. The large holiday resort of Scarborough is 30 miles away and provides top class entertainment for all tastes. The City of York is 22 miles to the South, with its magnificent Minster, varied shops, Castle Museum and, of course, the Railway Museum. Various sporting activities are available in the district: Horse Riding, Fishing, Swimming, Tennis, Bowls, are all in Helmsley, and there is a Golf Course at Kirkbymoorside. Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead at all times. Use of Indoor Heated Swimming Pool 1.5 miles away. TV reception is good. Separate camping field in use at Bank Holidays. Rallies Welcome.
