Description of site. ADULTS ONLY - Our 1 acre site is situated l/2 mile out of the picturesque village of Crakehall, 2 miles from the market town of Bedale. We have eight well-spaced pitches nicely landscaped within the lawned surroundings, all with level, gravelled, hard standings and electric hook-ups. The immaculate amenities consist of a tiled shower and washroom with toilet and separate male and female toilets. Adjacent to the site is a private mown grass footpath running through a young avenue of trees, solely for the use of our visitors - ideal for the early morning run or exercising the dog. This site is only available to members of the Caravan Club and Camping & Caravanning Club and is licensed by the local authority, Licence No HDC 53/04. |

Directions to site: Exit the Al at Leeming Motel onto the A684 (signposted Bedale). Proceed through Bedale on the A684 (Bedale to Leybum) in 0.5 mile take the 1st left turn (signposted Newton-le-Willows). In about 1 mile at the 2nd crossroads (junction of Cowling Lane/Sinks Lane) turn right (signposted Crakehall) and proceed over the railway level crossing. Site entrance a further quarter mile on right hand side. |
