Description of site. Humble Bee Farm is a Yorkshire Wolds working arable, sheep and cattle farm and extends to 320 acres. Its picturesque setting is ideal to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and its stunning location in the valley bottom is surrounded with wildlife. The wildlife habitats are hedgerows, field margins and the semi-natural grassland of the dry chalk Dales. Along the southern boundary runs the Wolds Way Footpath, whilst the farm contains 6-metre grass strips round each field were you can walk and see the unspoilt dry Dales and stunning views. Humble Bee Farm is quietly situated in a truly beautiful setting but is within easy reach of the east coast resorts of Filey, Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. Not far inland are the Yorkshire Moors, Vale of Pickering and "Heartbeat" country. Recently we have attracted alot of Surfers to our site as it is close to the coast and we have a beautiful and natural environment to chill out and enjoy. |

Site Details: Flixton, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 3UJ Onsite Facilities - The caravan and camping site is set in a quarter acre secluded field and has space for 5 Tourers/Motorhomes and 20 Tents. Toilet and shower block that is maintained to a high standard, including: hairdrying facilities, Chemical disposal point, Dog walking areas, Hook-up facilities, Laundry facilities, Plenty of hot water, Disabled facilities, Pets allowed (please enquire for details). Rallies welcome and barn available for rallies and functions. BBQ areaOffsite Facilities - Humble Bee Farm is also within reach of various offsite facilities including a Food Shop 5m, Gas 5m, Bar/Pub 2m, Restaurant 2m, Takeaway Food 5m, Indoor Heated Pool 5m, Tennis Courts 5m, Fishing 5m, Golf Course 5m, Horse Riding 5m, Sandy Beach 5m. |

Directions to site: From Scarborough: Take the A64 out of Scarborough and follow it until you get to the Staxton Roundabout. At the Staxton Roundabout take the first exit onto the A1039 (signposted Filey). Continue on this road until you approach the village of Flixton. Just before you enter the village take the right hand turn. Follow this road up to the top of the hill and take the right hand turn where Humble Bee Farm is signposted. You will descend down a hill before Humble Bee Farm comes into view. |
