Description of site.

Sleningford Watermill is a beautiful, friendly award winning park, we proudly hold a GOLD David Bellamy Award. It has the River Ure running through it. It is popular with families and the beach area on the river's edge is always a favourite. Walks around the Park reveal bug hotels, bug log cabins and butterfly gardens.

The toilet and shower facilities are modern, clean and heated. There are 3 covered washing up areas. We also have a laundry, table tennis room for hire, an extensive local information board, a 24 hour ice block freezing facility (in laundry) and we also offer a Calor Gas exchange service.

In our 'Riverside' Area, we have hard standing, electric pitches for caravans and motorhomes. On our 'Island' Area, we have many grass electric and non electric pitches suitable for all types of unit. There is also a small holiday flatlet for hire which sleeps upto 4 people.

As well as booking in at Reception, you can by milk, eggs and bread throughout each weekend along with confectionery, cold drinks and ice creams.

Directions to site:

From Ripon, take the A6108 past Lightwater Valley Theme Park and through North Stainley. The Park is 0.5 mile on the right.

From the North, leave the A1 at the B6267 and head towards Masham. Follow the signs to Lightwater Valley Theme Park and turn left at the roundabout in West Tanfield signposted towards Ripon. The Park is 0.5 mile further on, on the left.
