Tall Trees Park is situated on the edge of the Maun Valley Nature Reserve, and is ideal for those seeking a tranquil and peaceful holiday. Being less than 1 mile from Mansfield Town Centre and with easy access to the M1 Motorway, you are in a superb position for visiting the Derbyshire Peak District, National Trust's Clumber Park in Worksop, Chesterfield's Crooked Spire, and the historic Sherwood Forest. Our campsite is within walking distance of a friendly family pub, serving delicious meals. You certainly will not be disappointed in choosing Tall Trees Park for your holiday getaway.

Mansfield has much to offer with art galeries, museum and XplorActive (activity trail). Many events are put on over the summer for your enjoyment such as 'Schools in the Street', Climbing Wall Fun, Music Workshop, Farmers Market, 'Larking About' and Party in the Park are just a few examples. There is also the Timberland Trail, an 8 kilometre trail through the heart of Mansfield and into Greenwwod, Nottinghamshire's Community Forest (about a 3 hour cycle ride).

Further afield are interesting place to visit such as Hucknall, mainly associated with Lord Byron, which has street markets always attracting a crowd. Then there are Jacksdale and Westwood villages with lots of interesting shops. There are many place of interest in the area to keep old and young fully entertained.

Directions to site:

From M1 (North/South), exit at Junction 27 and follow signs for Mansfield on the A608, after 1 mile turn left onto the A611, After 4 miles turn left onto the A60. Turn right onto St Peters Way (A6009) and follow the Ring Road until a right turn into A60 Woodhouse Road. After 1 mile turn right at crossroad into Old Mill Lane, continue past Maun Valley Park and Tall Trees is on your left.

From A38 (Burton, Derby, Stoke), Follow A38 towards M1, Stay on A38 crossing the M1 at Junction 28 and follow signs for Mansfield, After 5 miles at the Sutton Junction, turn Right towards Mansfield and at the end of the road turn left onto Rosemary Street, follow to the end and turn Right onto Chesterfield Road South, Turn left onto A60 Woodhouse Road. After 1 mile turn right at crossroad into Old Mill Lane, continue past Maun Valley Park and Tall Trees is on your left.

From A1 (Newark), Take A617 for Mansfield, After 18 miles turn Right into Carter Lane (B6030), Follow for 1 Mile and turn left into Old Mill Lane at crossroad. Continue on Old Mill Lane for half a Mile, Tall Trees is on the right hand side.
