Description of site. You are assured of a warm welcome at Bo Peep! The farm is 85 acres with a quarter mile entrance driveway - and there are four miles of lovely grass paths around the farm - a true haven for dog lovers. We have no facilities for children - but they are still very welcome. Why do so many of our friends regard it as their favourite site? Perhaps it's the character of the place, the open space, the views, the warm Cotswold stone, the doves in their dovecotes or the rabbits in the fields. Perhaps it is the informal and spacious pitches - no straight lines here! Perhaps it is the fine grass areas, the picnic tables and the sound of evening birdsong, or is it the peaceful strolls around the farm, through the woods and along the river bank in a variety of circular routes. It may be the quality of life in the area; the rich choice of pubs and restaurants, the real ales or the cleanliness of the air. Or is it the elegance of a bygone era in the Oxford colleges, the Georgian architecture at Leamington Spa or the country style at Great Tew? As a touring centre, it has real choices and whatever your heart desires there is a variety of activities so that no two days will be the same. The local village of Adderbury boasts some five hostelries, all of which serve good food and ale, including the local speciality "Hooky" beer brewed at the Hook Norton Brewery. Excellent meals are available at all these Inns ranging from simple bar meals to speciality menus often featuring fresh, local produce. Shops include an excellent butcher, a Post Office / general store, and a hairdresser. |

Directions to site: From North on M40 - Leave at Junc 11 onto A422 (Banbury); in 1m at 3rd roundabout turn Left onto A4260; in 4m at traffic lights in Adderbury turn Left onto B4100; in 1/4m at Caravan Sign turn Right and follow private tarmac road for 1/2m into site. From South on A4260 - about 21/2m past Deddington at traffic lights in Adderbury turn Right onto B4100; in 1/4m at Caravan Sign turn Right and follow private tarmac road for 1/2m into site. From SE on M40 - leave at Junc 10 onto A43 (signed Northampton) in 1/2m at roundabout turn Left onto B4100; about 21/4m past Aynho ( 1m past bridge over River Cherwell and Oxford Canal ) turn Left at International Caravan Sign and follow the private tarmac access road for 1/2m into site. |
