Description of site. A small working hill farm in a secluded, picturesque valley. Flat/gently sloping site adjacent to orchard. The farm borders open hills and is exceptional for walking, riding, cycling and bird watching. It has one of the largest folds of highland cattle in Wales, calving in the summer and there are also some rare breeds of sheep. Close to the book town of Hay-on-Wye (7 miles) and convenient for Builth Wells (15 miles). Breakfasts and evening meals are available in the conservatory if booked the previous evening. Packed lunches available. Basic Groceries (beef, lamb, fruit, veg, eggs etc.) available. Duck race course with free loan of plastic ducks. Information pack on arrival. Notice board with local information and weather updates. |

Directions to site: From the A438 in Clyro turn off to Painscastle. Follow signs to Painscastle until signs for Rhosgoch and follow this. In village of Rhosgoch bear left. Turn left onto B4594 and then immediately right up No Through Road keeping Chapel on left. Site is 1.25 miles on the left hand side. |
