Description of Accommodation and Location. Kilpatrick Farm House is a self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the Ayrshire countryside at Pinmore, 6 miles from the seaside town of Girvan. This spacious cottage on a working farm offers accommodation for up to seven guests. Two pets are also welcome. The peaceful surroundings offer great walks into the hills or along the river. This is an excellent base for discovering Ayrshire and the South West of Scotland. Kilpatrick Farm House offers good quality accommodation for up to 7 guests. It has two double bedrooms (one is en-suite), a twin room and a single room. It also features a large, fully equipped kitchen/dining room, a modern bath/shower room, a sun porch and a sitting room with an attractive open fire, TV and DVD player. The house also has full central heating. Outside the cottage, there is parking for three cars and a large enclosed garden with sitting area to enjoy uninterrupted views of the magnificent countryside. At a small extra cost there is salmon and trout fishing available on the River Stinchar. You will be supplied with an initial supply of fuel for fire, all oil, power & bed linen, duvets & towels included. Further fuel for fire available locally. Non smokers only |

Directions to Accommodation: We are pleased to enclose the directions for your holiday. Travel along the A75 to Newton Stewart and then travel north on the A714 towards Barrhill. Pass through Barrhill and continue towards Girvan. You will pass through Pinwherry. After crossing the river by a narrow bridge, and a caravan park on your left, look for a right turn on a left bend - care should be taken - signposted Asselfoot, take this right turn. Alternatively take the A77 south from Ayr to Girvan and then the A714 to Newton Stewart. At Pinmore look for the left turn down the track signposted Asselfoot. Follow the track passing a modern house, over the river and continue straight on until you come to the Kilpatrick Farm sign. Follow the track up to the farmhouse and park in front of the farmhouse. ARRIVAL DETAILS - Please phone the owner Mr Stewart on 01465 841209 a few days prior to your holiday to arrange key collection and advise estimated time of arrival. Visitors are requested not to arrive before 3pm and to leave no later than 10am on day of departure. |
