Description of site.

Adult only site set in beautiful countryside adjacent to the Llangollen Canal and Sandstone Trail. Take a five minute walk along the towpath and you come to a set of staircase locks and coffee shop, with a walk into the town of Whitchurch taking about 25 to 30 minutes. Also, many country walks in the area. The towns of Chester, Shrewsbury, Wrexham, Oswestry and Crewe are between 15 and 20 miles. We can also offer caravan storage. Height barrier for security of caravan etc. Rallies Welcome.

Onsite Facilities - 29 Caravan/Motorhome pitches,these include 12 seasonal pitches, these are mostly hardstanding all with electric hookup and water. We also have a camping area with 8 tent pitches (limited hookups available.) At Canal Side we have 2 facility blocks both containing toilets, showers, wash basins and washing up stations. Dogs are allowed, max 2 per unit. We also have a laundry room, along with fridge/freezer for our camping visitors. A four person Bunk Room is also available to hire by walkers or cyclists wishing to travel light. This can be done as a single or as the whole room.

Offsite Facilities - Food Shop 100yds, Gas 100yds, Bar/Pub 100yds, Restaurant 2m, Takeaway Food 2m, Laundrette 2m, Indoor Heated Pool 2m, Tennis Courts 2m, Golf Course 1m.

From the Whitchurch bypass take the A41 to Chester for about half a mile with the Shell garage on the right in the 'S' bends. The campsite is the first cottage on the right after the garage.
