Description of site - Located within Doolittle's campsite which is an adult's only site set in an orchard within walking distance of the village of North Curry. It is located on a working 10 acre smallholding with sheep, goats and hens.

North Curry is a beautiful conservation village which overlooks the Somerset levels. The village has a shop/Post Office, Community Coffee shop and a pub all within easy level walking distance. There are also 50 miles of footpaths within the parish.

It is an ideal centre for visiting the county town of Taunton, Langport or Glastonbury and is only 15 minutes from the M5.

Shepherd's Hut (called 'Cherrywood')
The hut is basically a posh camping pod with the benefit of an antique style fixed bed and small kitchen area. It has oak clad walls and a pot bellied stove to keep you toasty on cold nights. It has a fridge, kettle and a few bits of basic crockery/cutlery etc but that's all, no cooking facilities except the BBQ outside. You will need to bring your own duvet/sleeping bag and pillows. It sleeps 2 people in the double bed and is based on an adult's only campsite, so no children! It's a perfect spot for rest and relaxation all you can hear is the birds and the nearby sheep too.

Directions to Site - From M5 junction 25, take the A358 (signposted Ilminster). Continue for 2 miles until traffic lights (on dual carriageway), turn left onto A378 (signposted Langort). Continue 2 miles through Wrantage, take left signposted Newport/North Curry, and continue for 1 mile then take left (signposted Knapp/Creech St Michael). Doolittle's is immediately on the right hand side.
