Description of site - Open all year round, we are situated at Freehay, near Cheadle, in Staffordshire. Quarry Walk is in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands. Once a quarry, now a carefully landscaped park, accommodating luxurious new pine lodges, each with its own private outdoor hot tub. Quarry Park also offers over 40 well spaced level camping pitches all with hard-standing, an individual lawned area and with electrical and water connections. This quiet, secluded site of woodland, grass and heather has a variety of woodland trails within its 46-acre boundary allowing you to fully appreciate the beautiful scenery and abundance of wildlife. Camping Facilities include Excellent Toilets and Hot Showers with electric points for hair dryers etc included in the price. Washing up facilities are attached to the shower block. There is a children's play area and on site shop. We have 46 acres with woodland walks and fantastic views from our cliff tops. There are 2 local pubs, the Queens has an excellent restaurant and is approximately 1 mile and the Raddle Inn and restaurant overlooking Croxden Abbey which is 2.5 miles from Quarry Walk.

Directions to Site - From the Ml Motorway - Leave the M1 Motorway at Junction 24 and join the A50 to Stoke-on-Trent. After approximately 23 miles on the A50 you will encounter the first roundabout to Uttoxeter, proceed on the A50 to second roundabout. (Little Chef on the roundabout). Stay on the A50 for a further 0.4 miles and take the left turn onto the A522 signposted to Uttoxeter, Upper Tean and Cheadle. Follow the A522 signposted to Upper Tean and Cheadle for 5.5 miles to the centre of Upper Tean. (You will pass through the villages of Beamhurst, Fole and Checkley). In the centre of Upper Tean you pass a Late Shop on the right then take a right turn signposted to Cheadle and Mobberley immediately before the Blacks Head Public House. Now follow directions from Upper Tean.

From the M6 Motorway -

From the North, leave the M6 Motorway at Junction 16 and join the A500 to Stoke-on-Trent. After approximately 9 miles leave the A500 and join the A50 signposted to Uttoxeter and Derby.

From the South, leave the M6 Motorway at Junction 15 and join the A500 to Stoke-on-Trent. After approximately 1.4 miles leave the A500 and join the A50 signposted to Uttoxeter and Derby. Stay on the A50 for 5.8 miles until you reach a roundabout. Take the first exit signposted to Blyth Bridge, Upper Tean and Cheadle.

Stay on this road for 2.9 miles (you will pass through the village of Draycott) until you are in the center of Upper Tean. As you pass the Blacks Head Public House on the left, turn immediately left signposted to Cheadle and Mobberley. Now follow directions from Upper Tean.

From Upper Tean - From the turning in the centre of Upper Tean, proceed on this road signposted to Cheadle for 1.1 miles. Turn right signposted to Freehay and stay on this road as it proceeds up hill for 1.3 miles. At the roundabout by The Queens Public House take the right turn to Great Gate and follow this small country lane for 1.3 miles. Quarry Walk Camping Park is on the right.
