Description of site. We have been Caravan Club members and CL owners for well over 35 years and often have the pleasure of welcoming back many of our visitors. Ours is a garden site with about 80 varieties of trees and shrubs, thousands of bulbs and other flowers - the site provides habitat for many birds. The grass is kept short and collected after mowing. We have six 16 amp hook-ups. In 1994 we were runners up for the CL of the year award, in 1996 we were the winners of Middle England and East Anglia and in 2006 we came third in the CL of the Year Award. Bungay was quoted in the Daily Telegraph (12.1.08) as being in the top 50 towns in the U.K. We can only take Caravan Club members. Our site is only 10 minutes walk from the market town of Bungay and only 5 minutes walk from a supermarket and filling station. Public transport is available from outside the CL. |

Directions to site: Turn right off the A143 (Scole - Gt Yarmouth) 1.5 miles after the second roundabout on the Harleston by-pass onto B1062 (signposted Homersfield); in about 4.5 miles turn right on to A144 and immediately left on to B1062 (signposted Beccles); in 0.25 miles take first left hand turn into Kents Lane. Site opposite other end of Kents Lane, in 200 yards. |
