Description of site. Peaceful, picturesque, in the heart of the 'Summer Wine' country, bordering the Peak District, our park is surrounded by woodland and meadows, yet is just 5 minutes walk from the village with pub food, buses, trains etc. All caravan pitches have 16 amp hook-up. There is a small children's play area and a well stocked food shop with off-licence. Coarse angling is in the Old Mill Dam and trout in the river Holme. Gas sales include autogas. Directions to site: 6 miles south of Huddersfield, the park is accessed from the A6024 halfway between Honley and Holmfirth, via a private lane recognisable by its double entrance and bottle banks at the top. Follow the lane into the valley bottom. |
