Description of site - Lowther Hill is a small, friendly licenced site which is set in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with stunning 360 degrees of uninterrupted, panoramic views. We now have two caravans suitably equipped for disalbled with grab bars in shower and toilet. Not suitable for Wheelchairs.
There is easy access from the site to the Dales in the east, the coast in the west and the Lakes in the northwest. Not to mention the beautiful villages of Bentham 2 miles away for all your provisions and the historic village of Settle with all its famous landmarks and interesting walks and hikes.
In addition to the site there is also a large field which is available for caravan rallies, block bookings etc. and can hold 20 to 25 vans.
In case of bad weather there is a magnificent barn which was built in the 1670's and if you would like to book it for a private function, that too is available.
If you are looking for some peace and quiet, stunning views and plenty to do then look no further..... It's a little piece of heaven !

Directions to Site - From the A65 (Settle to Kirkby Lonsdale) turn left onto the B6480. Continue over the Moor for 3 miles. Site on right hand side.
From the M6 northbound leave at junction 34 and take the A683 (Kirkby Lonsdale). Turn right onto the B6480. Go through The Benthams. Site on left hand side 2 miles from town. (A total of 15 miles from junction 34)
